Fire Marshall Bill

Is Fire Marshall Bill (Jim Carrey's character on In Living Color) immortal? He escapes being stabbed, blown up, burned, and other sorts of hijinks. Is he on par with cartoon characters, as far as durability is concerned? Or not quite?

I remember once he was just a head with no body. so if he can live through that why not.
