@dagmar_merrill:
Culdesac's a mixtape, and i have to disagree, culdesac was amazing, i feel like childish gambino from Culdesac to Camp was his Prime. they were both excellent and embodied everything i love about him.
But
I put culdesac over camp because i can say i love to listen to every single song on it(except these girls, and i can tolerate listening to it) . But when it comes to camp, tge songs i like i REALLY like, but there are songs i really don't like... At all.
I used to like heartbeat, and LES, when i was new to childish... But now after heating it all those songs are a disappointment.
i never like kids. But i can listen to it sometimes.. i don't like it though, and usually skip it.
Outside is ok, i like the allusion to platos cave alegory... Other than that nothing to special after the first verse.
i do love all the shine. One of my favorites of him from all time. And how he tied in letter home.... Just amazing. i adore sunrise, and backpackers and hold you down and i like you see me. Everything else is good too.
But culdesac is just.... Better.
Everything on it is just amazing!! like everything !! i'm on it, you know me, i'm alright(freaking amazing), The Last! , so fly, just everything. And it's not just the album, it's what the album brought with it.
the singles culdesac gave us are just beyond words. Have you heard his song break(aotl) ? it's phenominal. and the EP he made because of culdesac was just on another level on it's own, with only 5 songs. which included the great and powerful Freaks and Geeks, the ever-amazing Lights turned on, and the fantastic and heartfelt myshine, and not going back. Not to mention be alone is great too and ties into So fly from culdesac!
sorry for the tangent but childish is a personal favorite of mine and so is culdesac, i'd love to talk more about him with you or any other fans on site
