Probably either the alien from alien, Jaws, or the thing in all its creepy incarnations from "The Thing". They were all pretty awesome creature designs and effects for their time.

God, the 70s and 80s were awesome, these days crap like Paranormal activity passes for a horror movie.

Godzilla, but that is such an easy answer.

Beyond him it is the Aliens from the Alien series. The idea of something impregnating you and so horrifically birthing itself always weirded me out in a good way haha.
