I think we need a criteria on what qualifies, many are listing movies I would consider popular blockbusters.
@comicstooge: Cult films have a large fan following, the dialogue from the films are quoted, and they have have fans the view the films over and over again and in pop culture have been parodied in other films or forms of media. All of those apply to Back To The Future.
Depends on what you call a cult film, since some of the ones listed I don't exactly find to be cult films personally.
Shoot'em Up is definitely high on my list.
@the_poet: Welcome back man.
On topic: American Psycho, Reservoir Dogs and Fight Club are my favorites.
@scorpion2501: thanks :)
The Fifth Element
Scott Pilgrim vs the World

The Princess Bride

Cult fims are known for having small, dedicated fanbases that may have been critically panned or financially unsuccessful where the films focus on obscure themes. The whole point of a 'cult' film is that they're shun by the mainstream. Movies like Plan 9 from Outer Space, Streets of Fire and Sleepaway Camp are considered cult films. Not well received, popular blockbusters like Back to the Future.
@comicstooge: Meh, I still see it as a cult film. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
