Favorite Cover Songs

My favorite has to be Ministry's cover of "Smothered Hope" by Skinny Puppy. Oddly enough, I'm not even a fan of either band but I love this song.

Here's a favorite from my youth. The Meat Puppets wreck country/western classic Tumbling Tumbleweeds.

Pretty poor audio but I love the Outkast cover from the Supersuckers.

And for good measure Black Flag's Louie, Louie.

I'm not a big Billy Joel fan, but this guy's cover of Piano Man was great. Piano Man cover by Colton Dixon

Deliverance does an amazing cover of Iron Maiden's "Where Eagles Dare"

Jag Panzer's cover of Black Sabbath's "Children of the Sea" is also amazing.

The original version by The Kinks is obviously better, but I like this version, too.

Edit: Hurt by Johnny Cash would've been my first choice if so many others didn't already pick it.
