One of the 90s most under rated shows

#54 Edited by cattlebattle (12795 posts) - - Show Bio

@joshmightbe: I remember it, and its less than successful spin-off "Thunder Lizards" or whatever it had.

#55 Posted by joshmightbe (24885 posts) - - Show Bio

@cattlebattle: Terrible Thunder Lizards, the first word of the title was appropriate but Eek was awesome

Yeah Eek was good...Fun Fact: Eek was created by Savage Steve Holland, who gave us great 80's movies like Better Off Dead and One Crazy Summer

Depends. I mean Transformers, Star Wars, GI Joe lines like that are still around. But I was really talking in regards to the toys themselves and how the years of innovation has managed to improve them.

Pretty much all the mid - late 90s shows. One I always watched but never understood as a kid was Space Ghost Coast to Coast.

Define 'cartoon'.

If anime: DBZ or Yu-Gi-Oh!

If just cartoon: Invader Zim

The quality for price was at its highest during the 90s. The best toy properties were created in the 80s.

And Batman: the Animated Series, Spider-Man the animated series, Zoids, Beyblade, Yu-Gi-Oh were my favourites.

yeah...quality may be good today but toys are way to expensive....I remember getting G.I. Joes back when I was a kid and they were like $3 - $5 a piece and $5 was the price point for just about all action figures....now DC's 6" line is going for $25 a piece...that's ridiculous

Id still say depending on the toy that quality is better than in the 90's depends on the toy.

I agree that 25 a piece is really pushing it. Some of the DC stuff in general is just overpriced. And I am not quite sure why they are so expensive when other figures in that scale are cheaper.

My favorite show as a kid was Beast Wars.... and ironically my least favorite show as a kid was its sequel, Beast Machines...

#82 Posted by Pwok21 (2389 posts) - - Show Bio

Megas XLR, Megaman NT Warrior, Justice League, 90s X-Men and Shaman King.

At least that's what I watched when I was younger, and most of it's still pretty okay.

There were so many to think of right now, but when flipping the channels and when I see the cartoons I used to watch, I usually pause for a moment and watch it.

Avatar the last airbender hello. I can't believe no one has said that yet. By far the best show nickelodeon ever had and probably still is. I also loved kim possible JL unlimited SpongeBob and Jimmy Neutron. Not to mention som recent ones like SSM Transformers Prime YJ and LOK. But I was really pissed that KP didn't get a 5th season. I just wish Nickelodeon would buy it because they seem to be the only ones putting out half decent shows now a days. Well LOk is high quality and TMNT 2012 is pretty good. Noe Disney doesn't put out any animation series and WB just puts out crap.
