I cant say i wouldnt have done the very same thing, i couldnt let him live after doing something like that to one of my kids, i know its wrong but id want him dead.
Father beats to death man who molested his daughter
Uhhhh....so a few months ago there was a thread about a man who beat his wife to death after coming home to find out that she had killed their kids. If I recall correctly, he is currently serving jail time. Also, the viewpoint on the issue was very surprising to me. Most of you claimed that the man should of waited, called the cops and shouldn't have laid a hand on his wife, even though she had just killed their kids. I don't know, I just find it funny how you applaud this man for killing a man who almost molested his daughter yet condemn the man who rage killed his wife after she committed an act of evil.
lol huh?
But maybe i'm just remembering this wrong. And as for this guy...he should still go to jail. In my opinion, this is not a justifiable murder. A justifiable severe ass-whooping? Yeah. Murder? No.
All I can say I would do the same thing, even tho I don't condone murdering someone ( do support the death penalty tho since thats is by the courts and all that jazz) Although I think he shouldn't have killed the guy, but hey can't undo it so i have no sympathy for the dead dude.
That pedo would have died the same way in jail so, he pretty much didn't have to wait for months to happen.
Dare ka ga watashi no imoto no id kore o shiyou to shita bai sorera korosu!!! Sorry, I had to get that out. Even though I admire L. I could only imagine the rage I'd feel if i saw this happening to my little sis who I care for deeply. I dont think a jury would find him guilty of any wrong doing.

Don't think he'll be getting charged.
He shouldn't be, It's justifiable homicide within most laws.

Welcome Back!
Thanks, but i never really left ^^
Well... I remember when you broke 10k. Remember that? I was considerably lower than you...
I need a shot of Vodka.
wow, you HAVE been jamming it up here alright...
you deserve that vodka mate!
Exactly what ever father should do. Good for you. Hopefully you will get off with minimum punishment.
Finally someone who does what the Justice System claims to have done for over 30 plus years. (when they aren't given killers penthouse suites for 50 years in "death row")
Personally for me, I'd have neutered the molester, but then again I'm not up for killing people.

If the father does time for this, or even faces charges.. I'll be even more disappointed in this country.
Yes, that is possible, believe it or not.
That took place in Texas. There's still hope with their laws...
That a**hole deserved it!!! This should happen more to child molesters. They have to be the most pathetic people on the face of the Earth.
On the issue of moral ambiguity:
To me, there is none. I understand that murder is wrong, every life is precious, yada yada. I don't give a crap. If somebody did that to my daughter (I'm not a parent, but...), yes, I would beat them. To death? Don't know. Depends on how soon the red haze of rage lifts from my sight, which is probably what happened here.
That and, to me, if you molest a child you lose certain "basic human rights" - like life. Good right to start off with.
If I were on that jury, no way in hell would I find him guilty.
I have to say if I were in that situation I would have done the exact same thing. Instinct would've taken over and it would've be almost impossible to do anything else. And would I regret doing it? I don't think so, especially if my daughter was involved. This man did the right thing.
That being said this man's actions aren't something to celebrate or reasons to promote vigilantism. The bottom line is that a girl was molested. That allows for justifiable homicide but doesn't allow for glorification of murder. The man did what he had to. If people were to idolize him for that then they are indirectly idolizing the reason he fought back (the sexual assault of a young child). I don't believe that even the most straightforward cases of self defense should be vents for a nation's collective bloodlust. Not accusing anyone on this thread of that. But I see it all too often and felt that it needed to be said.

He'll probably get the death penalty.

You're right about that. But if I saw that mofoe doing that to MY daughter, I probably won't be thinking about whether it was right.
I've got to agree with Lunacyde. Celebration is inappropriate for an ultimately tragic situation.

Not looking that way, actually. Even the Sheriff was basically saying "he didn't mean to." Now that actually is true, but the point is, everybody understands why he did it and nobody wants to see him convicted.
I think he should have left it to the justice system, but I'm fairly certain I would've done the same
This, I still don't condone vigilante justice...which is ironic considering I love Batman, but honestly, if I were in his position, I'd probably do the same.
Any assault of any degree against someone who is caught in the act of molesting a child or worse should be completely justifiable and a law should be enacted to address such situations.
Ordinarily I have a philosophy that a life should only be taken in the defense of your life or someone Else's but I make an exception in instances such as this. Predators should be deleted from the gene pool. Period.
.
Because watching Spongebob makes you molest kids. Damn hippies.
FATHER OF THE YEAR.
Exactly. Whether or not he killed the perpetrator ultimately does not erase the fact tragedy has occurred. The only comfort that I can take from this is knowing that he can never do that to another child.@Lunacyde said:
