I've never watched Steins Gate but I don't think you can compare it to Fate/Zero.

I love the animation and characters are just awesome plus the historical legends are done well

Love Fate/Zero. It is one of my favourite anime currently. You should definitely check it out. And I agree, you can't really compare it to Steins;Gate(which is great as well), it is like comparing apples to oranges. And also Fate/Zero>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Fate/Stay Night.
