I don't like it. Pretty much the only original member left of the band is Amy Lee. And while she most certainly has an incredible voice, it's NOT the same without Ben Moody writing.

Doesn't it sort of remind you of a song that you'd hear in a rave in some post Apocalyptic reality??? and it totally rings of the 80's.... I sort of like it
I dunno, sounds like Evanescence to me. I think people are over-reacting. Sounds like some of the stuff from The Open Door.
this, people always over react when a band changes their sound, they did it when AFI changed from punk to goth, then again when they changed from Goth to alternative, they complained when Green Day released American Idiot, departing from their punk sound, and lately when My chemical Romance released their newest album, do i like this song? not really, but it's really not THAT bad
Several websites are giving this song rave reviews and ratings. Maybe some of you guys are just stuck on the old.
I don't think it's that... I think that it sounds like a different band all together...Like they've changed....In a less positive way...No one expected them to come out with My Immortal pt 2 but it's just soo out there from the rest of their music that its hard to receive it.

Well it is just a single. And they've said that the album varies so hopefully it'll have some songs that everybody will like.
@Son Of Storm: Hopefully... I mean, no one is discounting Amy's vocal ability... Probably she can be considered one of the best female vocalists of this generation. But this song doesn't do her any justice, nor the band.

Well they thought it did. Because all of them agreed that the song was a "natural" choice for a single.

In all, complete, thorough honesty, I can imagine Lady Gaga singing this better... It just sounds like a song she'd produce...Instead of Evanescence

The lyrics just don't seem right in this song, maybe its that, something just does not feel right about this song, Amy or not I am not sure about this new sound. I will still give the album a listen when it comes out, nothing wrong with trying a few new things, but don't forget what brought you to the dance!
