But to answer your question. Music wise, Cash takes it.
In a fight, im not to sure. Probably Cash again. He grew up a very hard life. He worked in cotton fields all his young life and was very poor. So i imagine the man was really tough.

while both are great artists, Elvis is responsible for the biggest direction change in musical history. He changed everything. Pretty much every branch of Rock music, can be traced back through different routes and (almost) all of it began with Elvis.

Johnny Cash. Elvis was just a face and voice behind a group who did all the work.

Johnny Cash. His career is just epic. Musically, lyrically he is just superior, and as far as a physical fight, with songs like the ones I just listed and "A Boy Named Sue", I think The Man In Black would curbstomp Elvis. I would just like to watch. Elvis was a hero to most, but he never meant $h!t to me...

Elvis is more than people make him, he wasn't original in the least bit. Just a marketable pretty white boy singing "Devil's music"

Elvis gets a win if motivated enough. (e.g. Cash steps on his blue suede shoes or Cash looks for trouble in the right place)
