@scorpion2501: Have you ever played any of the BlazBlue games?
What are your favorite classic comic stories?
@scorpion2501: Have you ever played any of the BlazBlue games?
What are your favorite classic comic stories?
@xwraith: BlazBlue? O_O. No, never heard of it. Have you?
Not sure about the second question. How do you define "classic"? :P
@scorpion2501: I've played the second one.
I'd define "classic" in this case as "at least 25 years old."
@xwraith: Was it any good?
In that case only Watchmen and Sandman(If you count that. It started '89)
@scorpion2501: Yeah, it counts.
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift was pretty good. To be perfectly honest, I actually decided to play it after seeing the character Makoto Nanaya and thinking "daaaaamn!" She looks like this:
@xwraith: Daaayyyuuuuum.
Girl got racks :P
Normally I'm not really fond of such character designs, but I gladly accept it if it's used in fun video games or "you know what" :P
@xwraith: Hehe. Who wouldn't? Just look at her O_O
@scorpion2501: Have you watched Arrow at all?
@xwraith: I watched some of the first season, but I thought it was pretty bad. I heard season 2 is a lot better though, so I want to pick it up again some day.
@scorpion2501: Season 2 is a lot better than 1 (and 3 is better than 2). My biggest problem with it is that it's not the most consistent show out there.
And here's something semi-related I think you might like: http://www.comicvine.com/green-arrow/4005-5936/forums/green-arrow-fans-seek-to-build-dc-cinematic-webive-1620107/
@xwraith: I see. Would I miss a lot of crucial things if I skipped directly to season 2? If so, what episodes of season 1 should I totally watch?
And that's pretty cool.
@scorpion2501: It's not a problem if you jump right into Season 2 - the first episode fills everything in.
The DVD release even has a short recap feature (I actually bought a copy in September and still haven't gotten around to watching it >.<).
Anyway, favorite Green Arrow stories other than Lemire/Sorrentino?
@xwraith: I see, in that case I might do that.
You lazy bum :P
I quite liked Green Arrow Year one. What about you?
@scorpion2501: That's actually my favorite (other than Lemire's run) too. I consider it the story that best captures the essence of Green Arrow.
Remember when we had polls like "Favorite Storylines" every week? I actually got quoted when that was the winner in one.
@xwraith: Really O_O? Do you have a link? (You don't have to search for it if you have no idea where to find it :P)
@scorpion2501: Let's see... here it is http://www.comicvine.com/articles/favorite-comic-runs-results-andy-diggles-green-arrow-year-one-vs-thunderbolts/1100-148831/
(That's the second time this week I've linked to a six-month-old thread)
@xwraith: That was actually a very proffesional quote :P. You should make like thos little review/quotes that are at the back of every comic. I just love it when I read through them and I see stuff like "I cannot imagine not reading this book" -Tony G-man, Comic Vine.
I'm always like: "Hey, I'm a member of that site :P"
@scorpion2501: It is always amazing to see the best comic website in the world quoted on a cover. XD
@dccomicsrule2011: Battle City is probably my favorite arc from any Yu-Gi-Oh series. It kicks so much @ss

Hmmm. I preferred Millennium World personally, mainly because they never had weak points or drawn out duels...there is no way duels like Espa Roba and Jounouchi should have been more than 1-2 episodes. <_<
@dccomicsrule2011: While that's true, I just loved Marik as an antagonist. Millennium World is up there in my top 5 as well though ^_^.

Fair enough. ^_^
1) How tall are you? O_o
2) On a ranking of 1-10, how high would you rank this track?
3) Most pain you've ever been in? Physically, of course.
4) Personify members of the Awesome PM with Yu-Gi-Oh! characters.
5) Do you know how to drive a vehicle
6) How good are you at Math?
7) Bill Cosby....Rapist....Yay or Nay?
8) How often do you cry?
9) What's your favorite book?
10) How happy are you in your marriage to Xwraith?
@dccomicsrule2011: 1m 82 AKA 5'11 1/2.
Hmmmm, that's actually not that bad. I'm leaning towards the 7-8 range.
Breaking my arm was pretty bad :P
Hmmm, let's see: Kitty is Tea. Dboy is Seto. You are Jaden. Matt is Joey. Acid could pass as Yusei. I'm not sure about the others or myself :S
Yeah, I know how to drive a car. I'm just not good at it.
I'm really struggling in school to keep up with the math I'm having(I'm doing a course were the math is especially hard along with a focus on science)
I think he is. Having all those claims against you is pretty solid. Though it really sucks if he's been falsly accused.
Used to cry a lot because of simple things(Like a character death in an anime or something). It's very rare for me to cry nowadays. Though sometimes I just need to let it all out... :)
Probably American Psycho. I just loved Patrick as a character :P
8/8
@scorpion2501: What are your favorite and least favorite musical instruments?
Do you have a favorite Disney movie?
You've seen my Guardians of the Galaxy shirt, right?
@xwraith: My favorite would either be the piano or the guitar. Least favorite...Uhhhh, the Triangle :P
The Lion King probably(That's a disney movie, right? O_O)
Totally! I told you you looked very handsome in it ^_^
@scorpion2501: Kitty once asked me what my favorite instrument was, but I couldn't pick just one (I got like five or six).
Yes, The Lion King is a Disney movie - it was their highest-grossing one until this year.
Thanks! ^_^ Everyone on here seems to think I look good. And I do love that shirt - I'll say it again that I'm a sucker for 80s neon.
@xwraith: Yeah, I think the violin is pretty awesome as well. Just listen to this Fate/Zero violin cover. *Eargasm*
I see, I thought it was a Disney movie!
And yeah, Neon looks pretty darn awesome. It got a feeling to it, that just feels right. Don't really know how to describe it any other way ^_^
@scorpion2501: What do you think of this tribute made to the Brazilian people?
@scorpion2501: That sounds pretty awesome. It blends with all the other instruments surprisingly well.
It seems like you've been posting on a lot of ask threads lately - you can post on mine if you want.
@dragonborn_ct: Sabaton is sooo awesome <3
It's very epic, and sadly enough I don't know a lot about brazillian history or it's people :S
What exactly is the video about? WW2? But what battle(s)? (Sorry for my ignorance ^_^)
@xwraith: Yeah, I think it blends in very well as well :P
Hehe, I see what you're trying to do. Alright. I'll ask you some stuff, wait for me to cook up some questions :P
@scorpion2501: During WW2, Brazil joined the Allies and was sent to liberate Italy after Mussolini was murdered. The video chronicles how a Brazilian platoon of soldiers rounded by a German patrol and they fought to the last man.
@scorpion2501: Do you own any anime merchandise?
@xwraith: Not that much actually. The most notbale thing being my pretty huge poster of Saber on my back wall(It's giant).
@dragonborn_ct: I see, thanks for informing me ^_^
@scorpion2501: That looks pretty cool. The only one I have (other than DVD sets) is the Simon plushie I got at NYCC.
Jake got a Ryuko figurine a couple days back (he said it was his way of supporting the series since the DVDs/Blu-rays are too expensive). I tried to find a Nonon one, but apparently they don't make it. I've been in a real Nonon mood since yesterday - and all because of one piece of (work-safe) fanart. :P
@xwraith: Fanart? I demand to see it!
@scorpion2501: There was an artist by the name of 71 who designed new outfits for the entire Kill la Kill cast back in May. Once again, I might be biased, but Nonon's was my favorite.
@xwraith: Lol! That's pretty great :P
@scorpion2501: Glad you like it. You can see the rest here if you want: http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2014/05/27-1/fan-artist-pairs-kill-la-kill-cast-with-sneakers
@scorpion2501: Thoughts on this pic?
@dragonborn_ct: That's pretty true. The king and queen of our northern brothers are pretty crazy when it comes to sports :P
@scorpion2501: What do you think of the singer, lyrics and instrumentals?
Here are the translated:
Água que nasce na fonte serena do mundo = Water that is born from the serene source of the world
E que abre um profundo grotão = and open as a deep gorge
Água que faz inocente riacho e deságua = water that ruins and drains runs
Na corrente do ribeirão = in the side of the stream
Águas escuras dos rios = Dark waters from rivers
Que levam a fertilidade ao sertão = that bring fertility to the backlands
Águas que banham aldeias = Waters that bathe villages
E matam a sede da população = and sate their people's thirst
Águas que caem das pedras = Waters that fall from stones
No véu das cascatas, ronco de trovão - in the waterfall veils, thunderstrike
E depois dormem tranqüilas = and later sleep camly
No leito dos lagos, no leito dos lagos = in the bed of lakes, in the bed of lakes
Águas dos igarapés, onde Iara "mãe d'água" = Water from igarapes, were Iara, Mother of Water
É misteriosa canção = is a mysterious song
Água que o sol evapora, pro céu vai embora = Water that the Sun vaporizes, to the sky fly away
Virar nuvens de algodão = to become cotton clouds
Gotas de água da chuva = Rain water droplets
Alegre arco-íris sobre a plantação = Cheer rainbow over the plantation
Gotas de água da chuva = Rain water droplets
Tão tristes são lágrimas na inundação = As sad as the tears in the deluge
Águas que movem moinhos = Waters that move the mills
São as mesmas águas que encharcam o chão = Are the same waters that moist the ground
E sempre voltam humildes = And they always humbly return
Pro fundo da terra, pro fundo da terra = To the depths of the Earth
Terra, planeta água = Earth, Planet Water
Terra, planeta água = Earth, Planet Water
Terra, planeta água = Earth, Planet Water
@dragonborn_ct: I like the lyrics, they're pretty strong. Nature is very important after all.
The singing is good, I like her voice. Especially when she sings together with the man.
The instrumental is strong, guitar riffs and ballad-esque tones work well together.
Thanks for sharing ^_^.
@scorpion2501: Awesome, I love to share this kind of stuff with you people ;)
@scorpion2501: Yo, bro...
Do you have plans on watching the Hobbit part 3?
What you think of Shadow of Mordor?
@dragonborn_ct: Sup man!
Of course I do! I've seen the first two and loved them ^_^, but I can only see it wednesday though. Are you planning on watching it?
The best game I've played in a long time, I had some problems with a few glitches where I had to update my Nvidea driver for, but after that it was smooth sailing. And it was honestly a really good game. What do you think about it?
@scorpion2501: Sorry for the late reply.
I do have :) Even though I didn't like Part 2 all that much I look forward for the final part.
Yeah I am on the same boat hahaha. Game of the Year in my opinion :) I am definitely going to review it once I am done. I poured 12 hours into it and only completed a handful of story missions and been having so much fun.
How familiar are you with Warhammer 40K?
@dragonborn_ct: Ah, I see. What about part 2 didn't you like?
Yeah, it's a pretty good game! And I'll make sure to check out your review for it man! I always love reading them ^_^
Not that much. I've played Mark Of Chaos, but that's about it :P
