Does it bother you to not have a date for Valentines?

Nope. The only time not having a date bothers me is when I'm at the movies, going to the movies alone is depressing as fudge. S'why I usually go with friends.

Never bothered me, never will as a single guy.

Valentine's is about love and I love myself most, therefore, I will treat myself. Another person would just complicate things and nobody got time for that.

Being single during Valentine's is the best time of the year.

For guys who beat their women or treat them like shit it's the one day they have to make them selves look better. Those same women act like "Oh he really does love me". I mean C'mon man. By the way I'm just here so I don't get fined...

I've never been big on celebrating holidays so it's hard for me to care.

I'm happily married! It's my second year. People are all like, "Marriage is so hard. The first year is the toughest," and my wife and I are like, "What the heck is wrong with you? This is easy."

I was single for six years straight though, so I feel you guys. For me, V-Day wasn't that big, but the daily longing gets to you. Keep your heads up guys and girls. Work on yourself and date and you'll find someone who loves you for who you are.

Congrats back to you. I was single from 20-26. Had a bad break up at age 20 and came up with lots of excuses not to date again. Kind of stupid in retrospect, but it worked out.

@batwatch: Even tho you stopped dating for those 5 years you were still on the right path! Every path is the right one.

I moved so it was hard talking to new people back then. This one girl was in to me, and I never made a move, she would have taught me how to surf too... >_> I will never forgive myself :p

I recently went threw a break up, but I didn't let it break me, I promised myself no matter what I'd never let a girl who doesn't want to be with me hurt me as much as it has in the past. So I'm still searching! I will not live without love :)
