Does ComicVine not do community spotlight anymore?

This left with RazzaTazz, and I have been considering bringing it back. Does anyone want this back before I invest time in it?

What was the community spotlight? If anyone could shed some light on this..

If I remember correctly it was an article that focused on a specific member who helped out the vine or did something major.

I'd like it. I think it's a good push for Viners who invest time and effort to write blogs that can stimulate intelligent discussion, it'll help bring more readers into the conversation.

Sounds like a pretty good idea, it'd motivate people to create better threads, blogs, etc.

@wildvine: From my standpoint I think a Community Spotlight would be beneficial for everyone.

• User nominations would lead to users paying more attention to the content around them.
• Desire to be nominated leads to a potential for higher quality content posted by the community.
• Everyone gets to then see what their fellow Viners are doing and might make some new friends in the process.

So I'd vote YES for bringing it back :)

I was the last person to receive a Spotlight. I thought that was the reason it stopped. No one could ever compare with that. Or my recognition devalued the whole process. It was one of those two things

I had forgotten that it even existed.

(Old thread I know). We don't have Community Spotlight anymore, but I am think of starting a new version with the same idea here.
