Am I the only person that finds it a bit strange that grown men are watching My Little Pony? I'm not trying to cause an argument I just don't see the attraction to it.
Does anyone find it weird that grown men watch MLP?
I find it strange, but I don't care what anyone watches unless it's that ^
The only problem with the MLP fanbase is the fanbase themselves who make me want to tear my eyes out.

it is very strange to hear of grown men watching something like this... but then again you have some grown men who watch child porn... so the weirdness never ends.
In my opinion, I think people who watch child pornography/pedophiles act like they are children or have the same mindset as children, hence them still being sexually attracted to kids.
Not saying it's good to molest children and stuff like that, but I think that may be the reason.
I see what you're all saying, I brought this thread up because I made a comment on a video saying that I thought it was pretty sad grown men watched a programme which is basically meant for little girls, only to get about 20 replies from a lot of angry fans lol.
@JediXMan: watching my little pony high? id be crouched in a corner scared of the horses with spikes.
There are some things aimed at kids that I understand grown men and women liking but My Little Pony is not one of them. Its almost creepy
If you actually watched the show you would find that, in terms of plot and characterizations, it's actually quite gender neutral. From the outside looking in it appears that's not the case.
The problem is that when people think "My Little Pony" they think of the 80's version, which WAS girly. The new show is drastically different and far superior.
It's simply unfair to think of the fans as weird. But it's understandable I suppose.
I've been tempted to watch it just to see what they find so entertaining... but I'm afraid that if I do, I'll be roped in.
I watched an episode just to see what all the hubbub was about, and it wasn't overly girly or kiddy or anything. It was just f*cking boring.

Dont judge me.Nah,not at all
not alone...
at first i was like the creator of the thread but later i watched when all that pony craziness started on Internet i decided to watch MLP and i say
I REGRET NOTHING!
it's awesome
Live and let live. If people watch it and take enjoyment out of it then where's the harm in it. Just because it doesn't fit the 'stigma' of what a man should(n't) do, does not mean it's wrong. People should lose the judging attitude and appreciate them for who they are.
Maybe they watch it because of Tara Strong as one of the voices. Hell i'm gonna watch an episode just to hear how her voice sounds.
@joygirl: Don't judge me. The only reason I originally got into it was because of a fanfic I read that had my favorite superhero in it.
@segamarvel: Was mostly curious as to why you felt it was necessary to bump a two year old thread.
@joygirl: Oh. My bad. Sorry.
I do find it odd, then again a lot people probably find a grown man in a Spider-Man shirt to be odd, so I try not to judge. :P
I wanna say yeah, but I watch Adventure Time, Gumball, and Steven Universe. So, I can't throw stones from my glass house.

Adventure Time and Steven Universe are okay.... but Gumball? The only appeal I see in that show are the crazy looking characters and pretty colors.
