How much time do you spent in the kitchen?
Ever tried to make something for yourself that doesn't involve a microwave?
If so what your favorite dish to make and do you have speciality`s?

I love cooking and baking.   They're a few of my mainstay hobbies.   I'm not sure what my favorite dish is,  I make so many.  I love my chili,  my cheese stuffed meatloaf,  my homemade marinara sauce over fresh pasta,  and as for sweets I would say my apple pie is the best.

Ordering out costs way too much.
After the second year of living on my own, I got sick of Ramen noodles and actually bought some cook books. Being a guy, I make some kickass hamburgers from scratch. I can cook pretty much anything now, but my specialty is curried chicken over brown rice. Everything is from scratch, takes me about 20 minutes just to make the sauce.

I can cook pretty much anything if I have a good recipe, but cooking isn't my favourite thing. Apparently I make really good spaghetti.

Cooking is my favorite hobby to do at home, there's nothing like making something new in the kitchen that tastes amazing.
I have a few speciaities:

  1. Nacho Grande'
  2. Deluxe' Burger From Scratch (The Best Burger In Calgary, AB)
  3. Boneless Veal Cutlets with Fried Vegies and Baked Potatoes. (Considered to be my best)

I used to cook alot and once thought about becoming a chef but i somehow got lazy and don't really cook anymore

My favorite thing to make was probably Fajitas

I can cook pretty well. For awhile I thought about going to Le Cordon Bleu, got accepted and everything. But decided that cooking doesnt compare to my first love. Music. I'm always cooking here at home for my family. But because I do the cooking I actually hate to cook now. Funny how that works out. Now I'm applying to McNally-Smith in Minnesota, going to get my music degree hopefully.

What do you mean, "You Viners"?

I work in a kitchen, so I can pretty much make anything. Specialize in steak, and have an awesome salmon recipe I got from my dad. (Though I'd have to kill you if I told you how to make it, he says).

I'm the only person I know who can burn water.

Also, I tend to use weird ingredients...

I'm not a vegetarian, but my ex-girlfriend was. There aren't a lot of vegetarian friendly places to eat around here so I had to get good at cooking (she was awful at it, she's gotten better.) Mostly I cook vegetarian things, cooking meats make me nervous. I make a mean vegan chili, and great homemade pizzas.

#35 Posted by kick-@$$ (120 posts) - 4 years, 7 months ago - Show Bio

My cookbook collection has more pages than my comic book collection.  Favorite dish to make is a lemon pepper twist instead of creamy garlic Chicken Kiev

I didnt realize how much I liked cooking until I got married. Despite the fact that the marriage didn't work, I still cook. I've worked as a cook in my younger days so...Anyway, I love to cook Puerto Rican and Cuban cuisine but can basically cook anything that comes with a recipe. Here are some of the sites I frequent.

I used to the extra cook for my family's restaurant if our cook decides to take a day off.

I cook Asian, American, and European dishes but pasta, pizza, salad, roast chicken and sandwiches are my specialty. Though I know how to bake pastries and desserts, its not my least favorite thing to do in the kitchen.
