People will blame everything for gun violence.

Not as long as they have more popular things to blame like video games and movies.

They already have at various points in time.

I don't think it's a popular enough medium to come under fire for gun violence. Plus when most people who are not comic book readers they don't think about guns they think about superhero's.

Yes. It's why a lot of those old Horror comics got shut down.

At some point probably, but only after movies, music, and the internet. Comics are pretty far down the line.
