I mean, we all say he is a bad dad who neglects his duties as a father. And also, he cares more about training than being a parent.

Goku was a great dad, idk what you are talking about. Let's say he did choose to ignore threats such as vegeta, Frieza, cell, Buu etc.., I'm sure his dead son along with a non-existent earth would be very pleased that he chose to eat soup with his son on the day he needed to go "help" save the world (saving his son in the process). Excluding cell of course who Goku rasied his son with enough power and character to save the world himself.
