Do you pay for movie theater food?

I don't, I try to sneak in some Mcdonald's burgers with my friends.

Nope. I grab a drawstring backpack and throw some snacks in. Save $15 that way.

I normally just get soda or water and popcorn so yeah. Otherwise no since the closest theater to me charges 8 dollars for crappy quesadillas and 10 for a burger(they are pretty good though) and fries. There's an Applebees right next to it though so I'm considering sneaking some food in.

My theater is right next to Sonic , IHOP , Panda Express , Cici's pizza , a steakhouse and maybe a few other food places so why would I choose to eat in the theater when it's cheaper not to ?

The carmike cinemas have that popcorn bucket that you can buy at the beginning of the year for like $20 and then when you bring it cost like $3-4 to fill it up for the rest of the year , I love popcorn so me and my wife get that every year and the last movie we went to we just stopped at a gas station and bought drinks and stuck them in her purse. So yes and no

@heatblaze123: Is that with tax and or the movie ticket? If not that's rediculous. I mean mine has waiters and rwally nice seats and the only thing that is overpriced at that level are the steak and cheeses which are $13 without tax.

With tax, no movie ticket, it's insane how overpriced the food is at my cinema.

Yup. I always grab a drink and a box of candy every time I go to the movies. Always willing to support my local theaters.

Absolutely not. Its way too expensive. Small poporns are usually 4+ dollars. Matter of fact, nothing is under $3 whether it deserves to be or not. Only thing I buy is Icees.

Yes. Most of the movies we see at the Theater is actually at the Drive-In and I do everything I can to support them.

I buy a drink to keep my bladder control in fighting shape during those nearly three hour long summer blockbusters. Otherwise... no. I've long since lost my appetite for popcorn and nachos.

Unless, actually, I'm at the one art house theater in the area. I'll support them by buying concessions.

Just saying, in my country they sell popcorn in chip bags(for example lays) and they are super delicious so.....no need to waste money on theatre food

Usually I'll get a slushy, but that's the only thing I really get at movies.
