Do you like Soap Operas?

Does anyone still watch soap operas from time to time?

I used to watch soap operas like "Passions," "Days of Our Lives" and "One Life to Live," but then I started to get tired of them since they kept recycling too many stories and switching couples like crazy.

My username originates from General Hospital's character Maxie who's at the time boyfriend Spinelli would refer to her as Maximista. I haven't really watched General Hospital since Jason left but even before that I kinda was on and off with the show. Usually watch it with mom though. Haven't kept up with the soaps online but did watch the first few weeks of AMC coming back. Liked AJ from what I saw.

Not really. They're impossible to jump into and far too melodramatic for my tastes.

I agree about it being difficult to jump into. I actually didn't start watching Passions until the arc with Sheridan's son being kidnapped by Beth and that was several seasons later.

I watched Home and Away for maybe seven or eight years and then stopped in 2008, but my ma got me addicted to The Bold and The Beautiful. I just mainly watch it to fuel my anger for certain characters and life.
