I don't enjoy the style or the subject matter of most modern pop music, how about you?
To the core, my favorite genre of music would be classic rock.
But I do enjoy some pop music/artist. I do like current artists like Rihanna, and like J.Timberlakes solo albums. Prince's oldskool albums from the 80's are some of my favorites too and those would be considered "pop" to many people. I also really dig post-Jackson 5 to Thriller era Michael as well.
As long as it's good pop music I'm for it, but as with ANY genre/form of music you'll find a good amount of garbage.
I like all types of music, I don't hate on something just because it's mainstream or popular. I like Some of Katy Perry's songs as well as some of Lady Gaga's. I even like songs that people don't like, such as Blurred Lines or What does the Fox Say.
I like some not all. I like pop music that you can dance to at a party or a club can't really do that with some genres of music. Plus I've leaned to keep an open mind on different genres of music because girls I liked have liked before like that kind of music so it's nice being able to talk about their favorite type of music and having them also listen to my type of music too.

"Look, I'm not a hipster!"
I enjoy most types of music, so yes, on some occasions, I enjoy popular music. When you say "pop music" I am assuming you mean over produced, ghost written easy digestible stuff aimed at tweens. Because honestly, The Ramones could be considered popular music.
@tifalockhart: Hey, no one can tell YOU what YOU like is bad taste. If you like it, the Hell what anyone else thinks. They can go kick rocks
Amen. Don't let people shame you for liking something, if you like it, you like it and no one else's opinion really matters, heck, I jam to the Spice Girls every now and again.
