Do you know Latin?

If you don't, do you think you would ever want to?

I know some Latin and it's a pretty cool language if you ask me.

I'm taking it in high school currently.

Yes, I speak it in addition to 30 other languages very fluently. I also teach a Latin class at Harvard.

My brother does. He also speaks Spanish, German I think, old English, and he is learning French. He's 16

My brother had him and he said they always end up side tracking to talk about Batman.

He's 6ft about 5 inches and super buff. I hear he is good with the ladies and he's thinking about serving in the Armed Forces.

I don't speak Latin, but I do speak fluent Spanish. So I can read Latin to an extent and get the gist.

I have also had some personal encounters with the man myself.

I studied Latin a few years. Forgot almost everything except a few words. Helpful sometimes in my field.

I'm pretty sure he did.
My brother told me he's had a LOT of students in his class.

Almost all the Latin I know, I learnt from comics: quid pro quo, modus operandi, etc. I do speak a fair bit of Spanish though so that might help.

I know how to say "give me your sister" in Latin

I learned it in school but have forgotten most of it now

@maccyd: Back in Sicily. When the parish priest visits here, mass is in Latin. It was how they used to do things before the Vatican changed things up in the 60's/70's. The town where my family is from keeps things very old school.
