Depends if they're a troll or not but no
Do you judge users off of their number of posts?
(:P)
Nope I judge based off of respect for Gabe Newell. I estimate this off of a combination of Username/avatar and by tapping into a state of awakened consciousness via waffles.
No. I judge them on if they have the default avatar guy or not.

Gives a surprise advantage ;)
Well kinda, users who have been here longer usually has more knowledge overall on Comic Books considering all the updates and newsfeed.
Who cares about post count? I've seen users over take me in only 2 weeks.
Yeah more posts more experience
Meaning they must know the rules better to be able to have that many posts. And be more credible, too :p.

What would it be though?

Nope.
There are some people who post very selectively, but when they do contribute quite a bit. Some people for whatever reason (other obligations) don't get on the Vine too often, but when they do, they contribute well. Then there are the people who are long time lurkers or landed on a topic of interest through a search engine and create an account because they have a lot to say about a particular thread. I have seen in more heavily debated threads; people will come on with 1 or 2 posts and make a huge contribution to the thread.
However, some of the lower posts accounts are alts. But that is usually clear by their posts. Not just their account.
Hell naw lol. Some of these users with sky post counts and long tenures (including one who has a 'thing' for Superman) can't debate (on the Battle forum at least) for sh*t. Having a higher number of posts =|= possessing more wisdom knowledge, or respect than any newer user imo.
No, there posts are what matters but if they have a high amount of posts I would more readily believe they are reliable, knowledgeable, credible and experienced. Not to say you can't be any of these things without a high post count, but it's a good indicator. If they have low points they seem more likely to be ignorant but really most people on the site are decent users.
@alphaq: I guess that we've shared different experiences since becoming a part of this community. I just don't see how having a higher post count equates to being more knowledgeable. It's probably bc I've seen and/or encountered more veteran users who don't seem to know what they're talking about on the battles forum in contrast to the ones who do know their sh*t. Hell, a couple of these veteran hacks are even on the top 10 poster's list on said forum lol
Hell no.
Some of the most intelligent conversations I've had on this site has come from people with fewer post.
I've come across one such guy. Post count: 15. He was on par with people in the 25-30k posts.
I could kiss this Miley! :p
I judge users by their pictures in the Real Life Pic thread :p
I don't think I've seen you on there, so idk how ugly you are :3

That is interesting, I've generally assumed that the really experienced guys like on the top 10 would be knowledgeable: they wouldn't be as prolific if they didn't have something to say. Or maybe it's just the threads I hang around in, like the Star Wars threads, who have people like JediXman or i_like_swords as an example.
Depends. Sometimes people will call me out on the battle boards from a post I made 4 years ago. If they have a low post count, I don't really bother responding. If they have a high post count and I have interacted with them before, then I might take the effort to "reread" the whole damn thread again that is 4 years old. I'd only do it if I know the person would do the same for me.
Nope. I go by the content of their posts over a lengthy period of time.
Same here.
@doctor_wheatley: what?
