Do you feel that CV has made you a more combative user?

I feel like I was a nicer person before I started i started frequenting the Battles forum. Now, after all of the petty exchanges and arguments with other users over fictional characters, I kinda feel like I've turned into a dick. Of course these arguments don't necessarily affect my everyday relationships and peer interactions, however, I know that I've gotten more a bit more defensive, sarcastic, and even a little 'douchey' since I've been here. I can definitely notice the change. Can anyone else relate in any way? Or am I the only one?

I wouldn't say that. I would say; however, that after being on this site longer and learning how things work I've become more outspoken and less afraid of what other users think of me. When I was first starting out I was so worried about other users hating me and having a bad reputation that I tried to be nice to everyone.

Now that isn't the case and I'm pretty blunt.

Probably a little bit. Mostly I just give less F's about other people's opinions.

At first, a lot. Then, in the middle, not so much. Now, maybe just a little bit.

I'm combative by nature, but usually when it's worth it. On here, that rarely (if ever) happens.

Oh yes. At first it made me somewhat of an instigating prick. Then it actually benefited me somewhat.

It's done the opposite to me... I used to be annoying and cared about no one elses opinion, now I try my best to understand others.

It's the opposite with me, now comic vine has tamed me because I don't like flag bans... I got sooo many flag bans... basically I don't argue with certain users/new users and i'm all good.
