Do girls read comics ?

No only guys read comics there has never been any sign of girls ever reading comics. This will never happen males will be the only one of the two genders to read comics...duh yes they do read comics (:

I'm going to be that guy and say that comics is totally still a thing that nerds do. But then nerds are and always have been both genders and as a nerd myself I can say I have a number of male and female nerd friends. XD

Of course...I have an admin on the Facebook page i run, who's a girl...but she only reads Wonder Woman.

Just because you don't consider yourself a nerd, that doesn't mean that someone else doesn't. lol

Also I was quasi-joking. I'm aware that comics as a whole has lost some of the stereotypical stigma that was attached to it in the past, but inversely I'd argue that they aren't as mainstream as those that enjoy them would like to feel that they are.

When you have a niche section of society or in this case niche hobby, it is rather easily to get labels applied to you and since it is just label and thus relative, well it becomes an example of:

@jeanralphio: If you get slapped it's likely for a good reason. Generally I try and avoid slapping guys even if they are annoying as hell.

I got one friend who reads them, the other 4 like them. All Marvel fans though. Which blows :(

this thread reminds me of my childhood, where girls are not allowed to do boy stuff and vice versa. i'd just show them a finger for that.

@jeanralphio: Well technically you shouldn't be punching anyone outside of a boxing ring or those weird fist bumps people do. Words are a lot more powerful then brute force, they have been the force behind every war and every peace settlement. But back to the 'question' at hand. Women shouldn't slap/punch/kick/bite <delete as appropriate> Men and vice versa except in situations where it is necessary such as self defense

Question for the OP. Where are you from and how old are you? Not criticism, at all, I'm just wondering these things because it's weird that you don't know any women that read comics... or play soccer. So I was thinking that you are either very young or maybe in a country were everyday life is different from here.

Or maybe you don't get out a lot. No offense here either, I never went out when I was younger.
