Disturbing movies you've watched

I've seen them all except Salo though I have been meaning to watch it for a long time.

I've been avoiding horror movies for as long as I can remember O_o I get disturbed very easily.

I tried watching it on youtube. Can't stand it. So don't.

@rocketraccoonthingy: Absolutely watch it, with 26 different segments of wildly different tones, themes and directors you're bound to enjoy at least one. Personally I loved them all.

I hate film that go out of their way to be disturbing but i love great horror films with disturbing elements like: Inside (A l'interieur), Martyrs and Oldboy

I still recommend it, the only film listed I don't recommend is Human Centipede because it's actually quite dull once you get past the ass-to-mouth aspect

A lot of people say that Human Centipede is disturbing but honestly I watched with a group of friends and was really neutral towards the movie, nothing special about it once you realize it's a movie.

Anyone else wonder how 120 days of Sodom and A Serbian Film are on YouTube? There was a time when there wasn't even an age gate. How messed up is that.

Yeah, the most disturbing movies I've seen were in the alternative porn category, but I haven't been keeping up with movies a lot lately; but, after seeing only one or two of those alternative films, I stopped watching them; but, one film had German stars and they're very creative in creating something that's disturbing. I did scheme through your list once upon a time and I'll say those films are not very disturbing at all compared to some films I've seen; heck, I know of stuff from real life that's far more disturbing than those films. Hollywood is good at creating gore and violence but not necessarily material that's actually disturbing; trust me, there's a big difference; I don't like watching gore and violence, because it's so common and very uninteresting to me.

But, when I was younger up to probably in my mid 20s, the scariest villain I ever saw was Mumm-Ra; aside from looking really scary, he also kept you in mystery and suspense.
