Die Hard. IMO it may very well be the greatest action movie ever.

First Blood.

It's more than an action film. It's the story of a troubled soldier coming home to a country that doesn't want him. It has some deep stuff. The rest of the movies in the series were kind of crap imo.

This is a fair point, wouldn't compare these 2 movies though. While First Blood has a more interesting theme Die Hard has better action.

@_gaff_: Both the last Rambo and the last Die Hard almost made me go crazy, pull all my hair out, and shoot myself though.

Rambo is probably a better movie. More depth, a real message etc...

But Die Hard is so much fun.

I probably watched more than 10 times.

However, I still remember when I watched First Blood in the 80s, and the impact was real. At another level than Bruce Willis killing all these false terrorists.

Rambo has my vote.

Whenever asked a question, ANY question, the answer is Die Hard.

Both films are excellent.

Diehard is so good. It's action filled yet also funny and witty.

I could have been am even better film if Bruce Willis' character would have been developed more. That, however, would have made it a a longer film. That's something that some viewers might dislike.
