It doesn't matter weather you are attracted to their bodies or personality. You are using terms too loosely, love. Example 1: You said "attraction", and being attracted to something/someone is only because you like it, regardless of how much you do(I won't do comparisons because you'll just twist my words). Example 2: You said "Affection", The reason you care for "affected" is because you like it. Even self sacrifice is also just a result of strong enough level of love, but it's not what it live IS. Also, it is mostly because they are connected to you now, and by that I mean they are a part of your everyday-life, and I don't mean like your boss or the bus-driver because you don't care enough for them. love isn't just with your mate(spouse/bf/gf) you would sacrifice for certain family relative that love or certain friends, but that is because you care about these people.

Furthermore, I hate when someone uses the "physical argument", that is so cliche. The reason an individual "loves" someone should not be relevant. Both you, and Living_M were right because it is subjective(it can be aesthetic Platonic, or whatever you feel it to be). However you both describe specific situation. My perspective is more neutral, objective, and indisputable.

This is not a small subject as I make it out to seem, once someone argued for hours with me about it untill he realized that what I'm saying holds the meaning of all forms of love. You are also doing what he did, by taking it to poetic level.

I haven't found my true love yet. But I'm worried about my best friend. He's found this girl and he has managed to convince me that she is his true love, but things aren't going very well between them and there is no advice I can give him to help. I worry about him he's like a brother to me, but I don't know what to do.

Actually, until either of us does our own "psychological research", neither of us is correct. You can't assume that since A isn't prove to your own standards, B must be true. I base mine off of thousands of years of philosophy, that many people still adhere to, scientists or not. I feel fairly confident in it.
