I wasn't a big fan of this movie I don't love it or hate it it was just barely above average FOR ME. I made this threat because before I watched this movie I saw reviews in YouTube which all of them said it was amazing and all gave it a very high score and it had a 8.1 rating on imdb so I thought it was an awesome movie but when I saw it it wasn't very good it wasn't bad eighter but was nothing special it had good action and the look of the movie was amazing but the villain wasn't bad or good he was just barely average. The plot was good but there wasnt that much action in it and it bored me throw the half way point till the end. The end scene reminded me of home alone 1&2. As you can tell I dind't like it that much maybe it is because I haven't seen the other 2 Daniel Crage James Bond movie. Did you like it or not.
Did you like Skyfall movie
I haven't seen the new Daniel Craig movies, only bits from Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. But these movies seen like a more serious and realistic approach to James Bond than the ones that use gadgets and have goofy villains. This isn't a bad thing though, it just doesn't appeal to everyone's taste. And yeah, I can see this movie very overrated.
I disagree, I thought it was really good. The acting was great and it was refreshing to see a bond movies where the world isnt trying to be blown up with a satellite. These movies are far superior to any of the Pierce Brosnon bonds. Craigs the man and this movie was solid.
@Qpzmg: It's probably the best James Bond film so far, easily one of the best in my opinion. You really need to watch the other two first with Daniel Craig to appreciate it a bit more, as well as that it was full of references to previous films. It also introduced the classic characters and tied it all together at the end, as a fan of the books I liked how they finally put his home and family in as well.
Didn't like it.
The last two Bond films were great but Skyfall is to cheesy and silly and it drags far to long also Bond went from being a new 00 Agent to being old and haggard in two films.
I loved it. The best part was definitely Silva. Bardem played a great villain, and that definitely made the movie for me.
It was a nice movie. More reflective than other bonds...
missed the classic Q at times (the new Q is alright, but no Desmond Llewelyn...). Could have enjoyed seeing some interesting gadgets (you know...something we HADN'T thought of before...
M was cool
All and all it was a good movie in my book, but then I went with a good friend who had never seen a James bond so I thought this was a perfect film to jump on the 007 franchise...
The acting was great however there were a few things that nagged at me *stop reading here if you haven't seen the movie*
1. Where the hell did Silva get all those men from? He's supposed to be a rogue agent and suddenly he's got an army and a helicopter on his side.
2. Why would MI6 put Silva in a prison with a god damn hole in the floor? I know it was only a temporary set-up due to the bombing but you'd think MI6 would have checked for something like a massive hole beneath their temporary prison.
3. What was the point in the gamekeeper? He didn't do anything or say anything that required him to be in the film. Why not just have it as Bond and M? Also what kind of gamekeeper just suddenly ups and agrees to shoot people?

I loved it too. And I agree that Javier Bardem was a great villain. But it seemed to me like he didn't have much screen time. Did you get that sense at all?

I got that feeling at the beginning of the movie. I wish they had introduced him a little bit earlier.
I enjoyed it.
