Did you like George W. Bush as president?
Yes and no. I can say that about virtually every politician though.
I think if you agree 100% with a politician 100% of the time...you aren't paying attention to what is being said.

Well, he did improve relations with other countries. Aside from that, I'm not sure what he did. I was in, like, 5th grade.
He did a lot better than Obama. And was a lot more pro-troops.
The Obama administration has pushed to cut benefits to those serving, have served, and their families.
Coming from a US Soldier, F*** Obama!

You are/were in the military?
I now feel bad for arguing with you about Arrow so many times. lol
@manchine: Because?
@godzilla44: Because?
@symbioticspider-man: Bush destroyed our relationship with other countries by invading Iraq. I forgot the guy who said this, but he said: "After 9/11, the United States had the love and affection of every nation on the planet and everyone was pro-America(Even Iran, though Fox News will tell you otherwise). Then Bush wasted it by invading Iraq unjustly and we became hated by almost every country instantly.
The only Governments that liked Bush as President were Putin(Bush let Putin get away with things because Putin is clearly smarter than Bush and could just talk circles around him while Obama doesn't balk), Israel (Bush never questioned anything Netenyahu dI'd while Obama acknowledges the Israeli government has a role to play in the ongoing Conflicts in the Middle East), and Saudi Arabia since the United States is enemies with Iran and Bush wanted to fight them.
In fact, Bush is the direct cause of Europeans increasing their defense spending in the 2000: they all thought he was nuts and might invade them.
Bush was not more liked than Obama internationally.
@legacy6364: Bush sent military men and women to a country that did nothing to us to die for people who don't like us, but Bush is pro-military? Pro-the use of force, sure but pro-military? No American president has ever suggested a cut of military spending, not even Obama.
I don't know where you get your facts, but I need to see them.
@laflux: Because of their political parties: Bush is a Republican who could easily muster as many Republican congressmen that he needed while the Democrats are always willing to provide humanitarian support.
Obama is a Democrat, and a black one who Republicans always say is anti-American and is Kenyan: if Obama suggested humanitarian aide to Africa Fox News would have a field day.
Plus, Bush's actions in Africa actually raised the amount of AIDs in Africa since Bush banned funding to any country in Africa that taught safe sex instead of abstinence sex-Ed.
Abstinence sex-Ed is so messed up xD
@superguy1591: Oh, thank you, I actually learned something today ^_^
Well lets see:
- Got a helping hand from the state his brother Jeb happened to be the governor of to win the White House
- Led a economic policy that resulted in the financial collapse making it the worst time since the 30'ties to not be Goldman Sachs
- His incursion into Iraq, under the false pretense of Al-Queda support and hiding of weapons of mass destruction, is the reason the ME is now tearing itself apart
- And personally I just think he came across as a shaved chimpanzee
So no, I didn't like him. I don't get how the American public could give him a second term. And I am dreading the possibility of his brother getting the chance to repeat the feats.
First off, I never said I liked Bush. Nor did I say he was a good president. The term pro-military was implied to the fact that he didn't mess with the benefits of the people who served.
Obama hasn't done anything better. And he has pushed to cut Military benefits. And as far as my facts are concerned;

@superguy1591: He's a likable goofball, but he didn't let his own country eat itself alive like it is now with Obama.
I haven't really liked any President in my lifetime.
Winner.
Bump.

This answer. And no, I don't think he's "better" than Obama.
He should have choked on a pretzel and died
