I saw that it got panned by critics ( though what can you expect from Logan Lerman)
did you guys like percy jackson and the sea of monsters?
Haven't seen it yet. I didn't particularly liked or disliked the first movie - I thought it was just average. So average, it didn't muster enough interest in me to see the sequel.
@dragonborn_ct: Logan as an actor sucks in my opinion. He lacks ingenuity. For example, in the first movie, when he was informed about his mom's "death" , Logan didn't act believable. As an actor, you need to make people BELIEVE you,knowaimsayin? He didn't act like someone who really lost their mom. Really, you should look online for a clip of the scene where Percy learns his mother's gone. You'll probably feel the same way I do.
@kingmark14: I believe so. I remember that when he received the news of his mother's supposed death, his reaction amounted to the same thing as if you realized you missed a very important meeting. He wasn't a very compelling lead on the Three Musketeers remake either. He comes off as mostly bland actor, but I recall the one time when he was downright insufferable and annoying in Gamer (and that was one of the mildest things about that piece of sh*t movie)...
@dragonborn_ct: (snort)
@dragonborn_ct: yeah there really was a lot of unnecessary swearing and copious amounts of nudity and sex in Gamer
@kingmark14: Wait, you saying there was actually something else in Gamer besides blood and boobs?
Anyway, the movie was rather dull and felt pretty rushed in a lot of scenes.
@ostyo: yeah, you could kinda tell given Logan's track record. However, I didn't see it. How did it end?
@kingmark14: (Hm... I didn't see this land in my notification box)
Lets say I am glad to have missed Gamer on theaters and have seen it on TV because I would have been so pissed wasting money on that. The only good thing this movie had was the musical number where Dexter performs "I Got You Under My Skin".
@dragonborn_ct: oh, I meant Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters. Did you see it?
@kingmark14: I said before I haven't seen it yet.
@dragonborn_ct: oh that's right. Didn't remember. My bad
@kingmark14: Pretty much set up another sequel by ending on a cliff hanger.
I liked Lerman in Perks of Being a Wallflower...anyway, didn't see the film, the first left a bad taste in my mouth.
I'll only watch it to satisfy my crush on Logan. And shlick to him And give thoughtful critique on his performance.
