His latest decision might have a major impact on his career path. Will he ever win another ring?
Did LeBron James make the right move by going back home?
@wolverine08: on what? The players they surround him with?
@huey_freeman34: Yeah.
In Cleveland he is King James. In Miami he is just some guy we boo at halftime when he is losing The Finals. Of course I am talking about the Heat fans that actually show up by halftime.
I think he should of stayed in Miami and created a Michael Jordan/Chicago Bulls type dynasty, and perhaps forever be remembered as the GOAT for the Heat..
No, he should've stayed. And Melo should've left also. If they were serious about winning titles now...they both made the wrong decision.
depends on how long it takes. I'm sure the idea is for the young guys to flourish(Irving/Wiggins/Anthony etc.) and Lebron able to be what Tim is, a cornerstone and not the offense.
I would have thought Lebron/Carmelo wherever would have been the favorites and sure to win a couple in the next five seasons. I think the Cavs move is for longer tho.
@ifdcruledtheworld: Wrong Lebron blew the East wide open and if they get K-Love they could easily be frontrunners instead of being on an aging team with a superstar who is old and washed up and another who did nothing in the finals
Not nothing against LeBron but he should've stayed with the Cavaliers instead of going to Miami. He wanted to be big shot alongside Wade, Bosh and others. At least MJ didn't go around finding other good players to be part of a team with. He made his team better just like Kobe has done with the Lakers.

Why devote your career attempting to be like someone else?
IMO, Lebron is doing just fine, creating his own story. At least he'll be remembered as something original, and not just some guy trying to be like Michael Jordan.
Not really. Cleveland isn't that good. He only went because it's his hometown. Perhaps in a few years he will win a championship, but maybe not because the west is so darn good. I do like him better in Cleveland than in Miami though
@the_last_kryptonian: what MJ did was original. unlike most other great players he didn't call out to others just to get together in one team. Great basket-ballers anywhere would want to get together as a team consisting of the best players as to steamroll the other teams.
what LeBron is doing is no different from most other players. They want to be in the best teams possible. Miami had Wade, James, Bosh and many others. Dwight Howard would've been fine with Orlando but went to join the Lakers for a big shot. A lot NBA players currently want to be like MJ but with the varying skill levels even the best players these days wouldn't shine if they were on a bad team like the Bobcats

Um, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Horace Grant, and Bill Cartwright were not phenomenal players?
Not only that, but Kyrie Irving wasn't even on the Cavaliers whilst Lebron was there, and Lebron still shined; despite the lackluster talent on his team. Other than Danny Green, no one on the Cavaliers was even worth mentioning.
Lebron saw an opportunity for success and he took it.
Besides, Lebron was very young at the time he left the Cavaliers, his mind was focused solely on winning championships, and he couldn't in Cleveland.
@the_last_kryptonian: Fair enough

I was just using MJ as an example. I could have said Larry Bird or somebody else..
