In 600-800 million years the World would be inhabitable anyway.

That being said Climate Change is a growing issue, and the U.S' acceptance and treatment of it has been laughable. TBF, most of America lies in temperate regions (as does most of the developed world) where the effects of Climate change are mitigated, but in more extreme enviroments, like the Poles, Deserts etc, the change is pretty unignorable.
