DC Universe Online..I want it

DC Universe Online is really shaping up to be an awesome game. I want to play it so bad and when November 2nd comes around I just may buy it(pending I have a job and can afford it). I'm just wondering one thing..do you have to have a subscription to play on the servers? Like you do in City of Heroes? I personally hope not because that would mean that like City of Heroes I will have to give up on playing it since I cant in my right mind pay a bill just for the sake of playing a video game(though if I could I would). So does anyone know if its subscription or free to play? Please let me know

180$ a year? i dont think so

I can't afford the damn pay to play aspect.

Neither can I. I can' t afford it which sucks especially since this looks to be such an awesome game

they might have one of those life time subscriptions for $160, so you never have to pay again but i still think it sucks, hopefully I'll have the cash to pay for this game cause it looks awesome

Champions Online is a horrible game. If it was meant to be the nail in the coffin for CoX, then it failed miserably. DC online might be able to top both, but I see Champions going out before CoX does.

You will not need an additional subscription if you already have a Sony PS3 subscription to play the game (That's what I heard but the sound was a bit jumbled, but I'm not a PS3 guy so please correct me if this sounds incorrect.)

To clarify, that's PlayStation Plus. If you are a member of the new PSN + you won't need an additional subscription. That suddenly makes that $50 PSN + fee a lot more attractive.
