DC/Marvel equals of Goku's MOST powerful form?

This is to resolve a conflict between me and my friend who thinks SSG or SSJ4 Goku can overpower Beyonder (pre-retcon).

It's really hard to say, people is kinda special when debating DB.

But if i had to pick someone, i say Gladiator is a pretty good match

Tough question.

Most of the time, it's curbstomp for either Goku or the other guy/gal due to their powerset.

It's tough to name, but some that could potentially be equals would be:

• Northstar
• Captain Britain
• Iron Man (possibly an equal to a Goku's first form.)
• Rogue possibly
• Namor underwater possibly
• Apocalypse
• Beta Ray Bill

Not all perfect matches and Goku could perhaps take a loss to Bill or Rogue or Captain Britain, but overall these are characters I think could match Goku the best without him or them having a huge edge.

@scouterv: wouldn't those you listed above all lose to supes?

And yet everyone says Clark would lose to SSj4 goku

I think SSJG Goku is near herald level, take that as you will.

Iron Man would only be a match probably due to his tech. But he by no means is on par with Goku in terms of power in his first form. Apocalypse, BRB, Rogue and Northstar would all be great opponents. I'm not sure how powerful Britain is however. Namor IMO gets speed blitzed into unconsciousness.

I honestly can't say. It's not easy comparing Goku with a Marvel character that would be equal. I'd say he's at herald level, however.

@mysticmedivh: I don't know. I think I did a pretty good job, considering my lack of MARVEL knowledge. Still, you're more than welcome to give it a shot yourself, Super Saiyan.

@micah: I don't know. Starks' best armor vs. Base Goku, I think fits as an even fight, but Kaio-Ken or anything above would probably be overkill, and Namor underwater with Goku would probably have a Speed Advantage. Not that Goku would let the fight stay in the water that long, but still.

@itsomething: Under Water, Namor could probably hang with Supes but considering Superman needs to breath (same as Goku,) I don't really see them having a fight. (Though Namor would be arrogant enough to try fighting Superman anywhere.)

Aside from that, like Goku these guys could probably hang with Superman to an extent. Superman's growing strength could give him the overall edge over everyone minus Apocalypse and Beta.

Super Saiyan 4 Goku vs. Superman? Eh...I'm not going to rule out either one winning, but Kal is far more powerful than Goku, so...there is that.
