@monsterstomp: Saw it. The first movie was meh, at best. I watched the original before this new one and that may be why. I have hopes that this will be impressive but I feel like it'll be a repeat with some more action, new characters, and a different plot.
@monsterstomp: Lol you need to get both worlds down pat son ;). I'm a 90's kid that respects the CGI as well as the black and white classics North by Northwest, 12 Angry Men, Lou and Castello meet the Mummy and many more. They don't have much action, but the acting is a league ahead of what we have to deal with nowadays on the average basis.
@monsterstomp: Kind of, he is way too rigid when he act's and he has only had a select few movies I would say he impressed me. But there are a good number of other actors that aren't very dynamic at all. And they don't make me believe their character. Johnny Depp is the best actor we have currently.
@eisenfauste: I only remember Depp from Pirates of the Caribbean. Charlie and the Chocolate factory was terrible. As was Tourist Trap or whatever it was called.
@monsterstomp: Just look him up on IMDB he is in many more movies than that and in each one or mostly each one he makes you believe he is this other character instead of the majority of actors being the same character but just with another name. In your opinion who do you believe is the top actor we have?
Considering that early buzz is extremely positive, saying that it trounced the prequel and is being compared to freaking Children of Men, well.........
