Anarchy only works in small groups of people were trust can be held and formed between members to pull their weight and yet even the smallest of tribal societies tend to have a ruling family or elected chief.

We humans are naturally oriented to follow an appointed leader whether good or bad.

The flaws in communism and socialism go much deeper than that. Fundamentally communism failed because it was a society meant to sustain itself by "work barter" IE trading goods and services bilaterally without using currency, but systems like this are flawed and ripe for corruption, inefficiency and inequality.

There's a reason why one of the first things that all ancient civilizations invented was a form of useful currency.

Its been postulated that communism might work IF all all the countries in the world were communist and all production would be under one central bureau tasked to handle nothing but yearly production quotas and their distribution.

@sophia89: A mixture of a Socialist and Capitalist government works best in my opinion. The real question is how much control the government should have. As far as America is concerned I believe that the people who care the most about civil liberties(republicans) ignore real violations of their rights(like NSA surveillance, Drone strikes, and Guantanamo) because they are always focused on the Affordable Care Act. On the other side of things we have the democratic party losing their minds about the possibility of someone, somewhere owning a hunting riffle. A focus on mental health,renewable energy,education, and a MUCH smaller military budget would be a start. I am not asking to cut all military funding or for nuclear disarmament just budgeting for a modern non-imperialist America.

Sure I see communism's fail in a huge country like Russia but I know that anarchism/libertarianism can work in a bigger scale.

Its a problem when these needful institutions become self-entitled and tyrannical and are no longer 'happy' to remain in their position as 'managers' -and that is a fundamental flaw in most of us; if we're given any significant power over others we also tend to use it -to our own ends.

Yeah. It doesn't need to be like a tyrannical government but maybe just a cabinet?

Name: Elementa (couldn't think of anything better)

Citizens: Anyone with elemental powers of primary, secondary and teritary elements. This does not however change how the person is treated (they are assessed by how cool their ability is). However, a few prefer to live in other continents, and visit the country like a base.

Government: The EOT, or the Elemental Order of Tommorow. There is a leader, who is basically Nick Fury, and the side assistants, who are like Maria Hill and Coulson.

Army: Pretty much everyone is a descent solider, so their specialties are sorted into whatever field works best for the applicant and the EOT. There are mission-goers/agents, researchers (give agents info, sometimes go into field themselves), developers (buildings to tech), etc To get a position, you must have your abilities assessed with some sort of test (may or may not be physical). All positions are completely voluntary.

Country size: Size-wise, it is a very small country. What makes it a country is the fact that it is floating between the West coast of the US and the East coast of Asia. The country itself is in the shape of a large circle that is as big as, say 2 or 3 Tokyos? The country has a cloaked shield around it, which disappears when agents DNA out, or with permittance of security.

Resources: Elementa has partnerships with several countries, and services and such are switched, such as employing EOT agents to assist those areas (long term, short term, or permanent), or purchasing vehicles, and materials and borrowing soldiers and whatever from certain other countries. Elementa also has valuable ores, some they keep (secret), some they sell.
