That's one cop and he probably couldn't handle the pressure anymore. Good thing, they suspended him.
He was fired? Good. Just more proof that a lot of cops are crazy assholes,and something needs to be done to prevent the hiring of crazy assholes.
Funny how no threads on the crazy non-police people in Ferguson.
if you feel they're needed make them

yup. i'd be chill with a crazy mob around me. that cop was cray cray.

Actually, if anything I'd consider that proof that a lot of cops are not crazy assholes, and that they're already working to prevent said hiring issue.
@blade_r: Are you implying he was unrightfully fired?
Beata
@blade_r: Not all police are corrupt, at least they acted before the situation got out of hand. The cop seemed mentally unstable.

Lol no I was just joking anyway. I realized people might take what I said way tpp seriously and deleted my post lol
@blade_r: Ohh lol, my bad.

Lol its all good, I should have added an "lol" or a ";)" to signify I wasn't being serious lol
You know all this talk about the cops, the victim etc but nothing about these poor store owners that have had the pleasure of being victimized themselves in the worse way. Have their stores they worked their whole lives to keep up, make a living and the cops let it happen and the people riot and destroy. SMH....
Hell, if I was one of those owners I'd get a weapon real fast and be like if cops questioned me "what the hell" I'd be like, well my responce exactly. You let these rioting thugs ruin my business I'm taking matters into my own hands.
You know, I'm glad the police officer is suspended and he should be fired assuming there are no mitigating circumstances, but I was cursing up a storm and hitting inanimate objects today at my job because I was working in a slightly hot and humid room and couldn't get a freaking bolt to thread right.
If I had been working long shifts where I feared for the safety of myself and others, where I was called a racist all day, where people stuck cameras in my face and said things to bait me, and where I was trying to follow my orders by clearing a street and people kept on walking in the street just to antagonize me, I might lose it too. I'd be in the wrong and I'd deserve to be fired, but I can see myself saying something threatening in anger.
@legacy6364:
Yet you've managed to figure things out about every one else's ignorance?
Let's just ignore the fact that protesters have threatened the lives of police officers, as well. Also, I haven't seen any cops looting neighborhood stores on the news yet.

I haven't seen any cops trying to prevent the looting of neighborhood stores either, people take advantages of poor situations and many of the protesters have been trying to prevent people from looting while the cops stand by doing nothing.

The Mike Brown shooting happened after the cops were called to a neighborhood store where Brown assaulted the shopkeeper and stole a box of cigars, so it's not like no one's bothered about the looting.
@saren: False. Those were two separate incidents. The officer that shot and killed Brown was unaware of the gas station robbery, and he stopped Brown and his friend because they were walking down the middle of the street and blocking traffic.

So that isn't proof at all of the cops' willingness to respond to looting.

On Friday morning, Jackson had said that Darren Wilson, the officer who killed Brown, had been responding to a call when a radio dispatcher reported the robbery as well as the suspect’s description and approximate location.
Darren Wilson may not have responded to the robbery personally, but the fact that the alert was put out on dispatch is itself an indicator of a response to the looting.
But eh, let them loot. It can only bite them in the ass at the end of the day.
F*ck tha people.
I agree. F*ck it all to hell brah. Cuz that's where it's all going any damn way.
@saren: But there wasn't community-wide looting at that point. It was one isolated crime, so of course the cops would respond to it. I haven't seen any evidence to suggest they're doing anything about the current looting that was in direct response to Brown's death. They're more focused on fighting back the protesters than protecting lawful citizens.
Overall, the evidence used to support your point is just weak.
@farkam: Yeah.... I tried thinking do something with to say back, but I got nothing.
