It's unlikely that 4chan endorsed this, given that they were just as shocked and dismayed as everyone else. They may be arseholes, but they still have hearts.

I was an ex/b/tard, most of them are just pretending to be that way, yes their nothing is sacred attitude towards humor is offensive, but at the very least, /b/ as a whole has standards of a sort.

You know I think its just sad how that site, and other places in the internet, are so used to such crude and distasteful and highly un-empathic humor and discourse, you can't tell if someone has a demonic sense of humor or is just a simply demonic being.

It's fake, it DID happen once in a similar situation of someone who killed themselves, but all other ones like this are fake. They also made one saying the batman shooter was on 4chan before hand.

There's actually several studies that suggest premeditated communication is one of the early warning signs of such horrific acts and should be taken seriously.

its highly likely that this is edited but it hasnt actually been dispproven yet. usually when someone edits things like this they leave noticable errors like time, date and post numbers. this one is well placed in every aspect. with that said, this might be fake due to the lack of attention the thread got. usually when someone post a suicide/mass murdering thread it goes on all day this didnt and is archived if OP delivered. this popped out of nowhere and wasnt even voted to be archived.
