Comic Vine Respect Thread

#1 Posted by minigunman123 (3100 posts) - 5 months, 4 days ago - Show Bio

For anyone to feel welcome. Gays, Heterosexuals, Blacks, Latinos, North Koreans, Iranians, Russians, Americans, Martians, Kryptonians, and more, because we're all part of the same society.

Post a picture, link, or story, of someone you think deserves respect!

I'll start.

Bruce Lee. The man was awesome.

Should get some respect. No other Greek has ever lol'd more, said Hola, amigos, and been turned into a meme more times than this guy.

Why did you pick North Korean, Iran, Russia, America out of all the countries in the world. Just wondering.

And what "society" would that be?

I LOVE YOU CV!!!!!!!!

So I wrote this about a thousand times, trying to make sure know one felt bad about being left off. But I just erased it so I didn't have to worry about it. But yeah, I've had some of the best times in CV due to those listed above, so I'm very thankful for that. I would've added Merc in here, but he left.

Also , because his skills as a debater and how he uses his creativity when creating battles, not just "SUPERMAN VS GOKU (READ OP)". Also, I've been around the site for 2 years, and to know that someone who, in my opinion, provided the site with great content, became STAFF was quite awesome.

@TheCerealKillz you're not too bad yourself, TCK.

@Mercy_:

Lets face it, I kind of am a bad person. I'm betting my first year here was full of mismatched battles, ignorantly thinking Goku was the greatest person alive and thinking that A>B because A had a cooler costume.

Mercy's pretty much one of the closest friends I have on here. And she's awesome.

The society of humans posting in this thread.

Trying to make something out of nothing as usual?

No, that was not my intent, 'as usual'. The different nationalities you mentioned live within separate societies, the interplanetary aliens aren't human and homosexuals and other alternative lifestyle adherents fit into micro-societies, so I'm just trying to figure out what you meant by what you posted. Perhaps a more appropriate term than the misappropriated "society" would be more effective..?

I think that she deserves respect. She died today at the age of 103... She was a scientist, she won a Nobel and she's never stopped working trying to make the world a better place till she died today, but especially she has shown to all of us that it doesn't matter if you're a woman or a man, if you're old or young, the only thing that counts is your will.
