Comic reviews and Conversation - Off-Topic

I'm thinking about maybe forming/joining a conversation group either on here or even on Skype talking and discussing some comic related stuff.

I'm definitely in need for some people to talk comic stuff with. I love the podcast and this site, but I also like to converse ideas and what not. If it's on skype, I won't make anyone video chat, it will just be regular chat format. But, it could just be on here since skype relies on everyone being online at the same time. Does Anyone know if you can form groups on here?

Comics I can definitely discuss because they are on my Pull-list:

Batman
Nightwing
Justice League
Flash
Action Comics
Batman & Robin
Batgirl
Wonder Woman
Scarlet Spider

I'm willing to fit 2 more monthlies into my pull-list so I can also enjoy talking/reading them. Also, I'm not afraid of taking on Marvel stuff, I just don't know where to begin. I also have some thoughts on current Marvel stuff that I'd like to talk about that isn't just ranting.

Also, I'd like to to talk about comic-related news whether it be movies or video games.

This isn't anything legitimate or professional, this is just a comic nerd wanting to expand his network and also wanting to talk about comics. This is just for fun!

I would personally love to video chat on skype about some of this stuff, but that could turn real weird for me real fast. As far as discussing these things on here, have you tried looking at the threads for the characters? Like the Batman thread etc. there are usually people in each specific thread talking about what the character has been doing and what he/she has been up to and so forth. I would like to talk about them, but the fact is I haven't purchased a comicbook since before the relaunch.

I don't know it would be weird searching for thread everyday. I think there should be groups on here, or if some how I could have feeds that I can subscribe to through the site. like a notification center just for those threads. it would be easier. I'm sorta looking for a small group for discussions. I mean threads are great but conversations can jump all over the place from the thousands of users who comment. I don't think you'd have to be reading the new books, I mean you could be more objective about certain storylines such as Court of Owls. I may be smitten with the stories, you could point out some of the absurd things.

@Pauldro: Yeah, Comicvine is more of a review/wiki/off-topic type of place. Your best bet to get some sort of reaction out of the community would be to go to a character forum and make your own discussion thread there. Explain how you want to discuss the pros and cons of such and such and i'm sure people will respond to it. I'm not a complete expert here so I couldn't tell you for sure if such a place existed where a small group of people got together to discuss these things. And I haven't even touched Court of Owls. The last thing I got into was Black Mirror which I thought was really well done and will probably remain my favorite Batman story.
