Hi guys, I'm just posting this off of my newly earned excitement from getting accepted to my first university, SUNY Plattsburgh. :D

Since this is a comic website, I bet there are tons of college-bound teenagers running around these forums and I was wondering how the college process is going with you guys!

I didn't get any financial aid, had to pay for my books in full and start class on Tuesday

I'm going to be applying to the local community college in Reedley, CA, around Monday or Tuesday. Filling out my FAFSA within the next week, and I take my placement test on the 14th of next month.

I've been in community college in Kentfield, Ca since Fall of 2008...I'm just trying to achieve my AA Degree in Art and English Writing. At the rate I'm going (for courses I need to finish and earn my degree) I might be around for at least 3 more years or so...after that...who knows....

This is my second semester of college. I really like it, but it can be stressful at times.

Plattsburgh, New York must be extremely cold right now. Upstate New York is a nice area, though. I am sure you will enjoy your time there, as long as you don't mind rural areas. lol You can even make a trip to Canada or Vermont one day. You can also check out the original Ben and Jerry's in Burlington.

Congratulations and best of luck.

@Edamame:

see, that's the thing lol. I'm from Brooklyn and the closest I'ver been to a rural town is a summer college program at Ithaca college which was like a small town. o_O I thought that was ok is it even MORE rural in plattsburgh? Will I see barns?

@lykopis: @DoomDoomDoom: @Darkseid Elite: @SuperTide: @Gambit1024:

Thanks Guys! My College Thesis will acknowledge all of you guys :D

@Amanthine:

What's in the dip? o_O

@The Stegman:

Oh, I see. Well, that will be a huge change for you. lol

Were you near Cornell University? I love that area.

Yes, it is. You probably will, assuming that you are on the outskirts.

Also, it is only an hour away from Canada.

Is it at least the part of Canada where the legal drinking age is 18?
