CM Punk Returns.. with a Wolverine beard.

Don't know how many watch it anymore, wrestling that is. All I know is, Punk is one of the few reasons I still give it a chance. One's he off screen, I turn it off. He's entertaining on there, and that's about it.

Well, recently, he came back yesterday during the PPV Payback. I thought it would be appropriate to post it here, because.. well. Check his new style.

On that note, I noticed he doesn't have a Comic Vine page. TECHNICALLY, he should. And there are actually legit reasons for it too.

I don't really watch wrestling but he is one of my favorites.

I don't watch wresting anymore, but I still love Punk. I think he just stupid, but nothing was worse than bald and bearded.

And that's a no go. If you're gonna go bald, you should at least have the beard to go with it.

The thing about Punk is he always changes up his beard and hair style whenever he switches up his character. He went from just a punk looking guy and when he started getting more defined gimmicks, he changed it up. Straight edge Savior he was hairy chested, grotesque long beard and long hair. He went bald but still maintained the gimmick before switching to short hair with the New Nexus. Then he grew his hair out a bit and slicked it back when he went into the Summer of Punk: the anti establishment Punk. Then he kept that as a face, then when he went full heel went bald. Now he's back and will probably go face again and is rockin the Wolverine muttonchops.

@god_spawn: I like the style, but it doesn't suit him. He should stick with the slicked back look and keep the voice of the people gimmick.

So, I have to go half and half with my sports. Football: Phili. [Don't really watch Football anyway]. Basketball: Chicago. Was a fan of the Bulls since I was a kid, and I'm pretty good at Basketball. Baseball: Chicago [Don't watch baseball.] Hockey: Phili. I love hockey, and was a fan of THEM since I was a kid.

So it's weird for me. All I know is, that beard has something to do with hockey.

@awesam: Every gimmick he has done he has rolled with and done so exceptionally. I can understand which one people like more or think suit him better, but he's nailed every role he's been given.

It's all about not shaving during the play-offs. It's a superstition that pretty much most of the hockey world abides by and since CM Punk is a huge Blackhawks fan -- and I mean HUGE -- he is standing by his boys.

The beard will be gone as soon as the Stanley Cup Finals are over -- unless he likes the look in which case, I say good on him. Anything Wolverine-esque is AOK in my book.

@lykopis: He'll most likely keep the beard based on what he traditionally does when he changes his gimmick around a bit.

I cannot tell you how rabid people are over here about it. Boston knocked out Toronto so it's all about the Blackhawks. Although it was awesome seeing CM Punk troll the crowd when he was here back in March -- came out in his Blackhawk jersey and laughed and laughed.

(I am kinda going for Boston though)
