Classic Spongebob > Any other cartoon

Spongebob isn't the best, but it comes close to being most successful kid's show in forever.

@stoneo: Stupidity is worse than Greed, Envy and Pride combined so it doesn't equal out. I can't blame Spongebob for the current state of treating stupidity like something to be proud of tho, the show is just a symptom of the problem.

@stoneo: That still works for my argument as well though since Bugs did spend a lot of time punishing people for pride, greed and envy as well, also they went the added step of even punishing Bugs himself when he succumbed to these things.

Actually, it can.

Like I said before, a lot of these picks are based off nostalgia, what you liked as a kid. Spongebob on the other hand, no matter whether you watched it as a kid or not, it's always funny, whether you're 4 or 40.

You're saying Danny Phantom, Freakazoid, Gumball, Jake Long, Juniper Lee, Korra which barely premiered a month ago, fuggin Thunder Cats, Ying Yang Yo, Teenage Robot, Invader Zim, and goddamn ponies are all better than classic Spongebob?

I fail to see your point. The two shows you bolded are relatively new compared to Freakazoid and Thunder Cats, not to mention age has nothing to do with how good a show is.

Wasnt making a point.......you said they barely premiered months ago.

Read more slowly. I said Korra premiered barely a month ago, which it did.

Who cares? That show sucked anyway.

Spongebob wouldn't even be in the top 50 best cartoons IMO.

Original Ninja Turtles cartoon is probably the greatest cartoon ever made. It had a gigantic cultural impact on the world.

Think it's kind of unfair that some people are putting Spongebob in categories with Superhero cartoons and such, they're completely different genres, would be like me putting Seinfeld up against Smallville or something.

It's not that bad. I tried it out and it's a fun. It's a good modern day cartoon that doesn't rely on expensive animation and reference jokes like alot of modern day cartoons seem to do today.

I don't know why people hate it so much.

Well reasons 1-4 are your opinion so no argument there.

But your fifth reasons is not even an accurate description of what adventure time is. I find no similarities between the two, you are the first person to have ever compare the two.

But alright, i get it you just do not like the show. But im just curious, you said you agreeed with everything on my list except adventure, meaning you liked all the other shows I named, and i named quite of few with mediocore art styles and eraditc plot-storytelling.

But alright then...i guess we agree to disagree.

@zackattack529: True... Some friends have begged me to watch it and give it a try bu I just couldn't do it. The only thing I watch on caroonnetwork nowadays is Young Justice and Green Lantern and toonami(though that classifies as AS) and Scooby Doo Mystery Inc but I hate myself for that one
