Can the time space between TV series season be considered a time skip ?

For example:

There is a 5 to 6 months between the first and second season of the TV series A-Team.

Can those 5 to 6 months be considered a time skip ?

Only if you actually notice some passage of time between the seasons. Change in facial hair, new characters, etc. It depends on the show.
