Because there are parts of that fight that directly contradict what Gambit's been shown capable of in the past.

Although I don't know why anybody's surprised. It was written by Steve McNiven, one of the main artists in the Cap books for the Brubaker run.

@Mercy_: i'lll bite. what were the contradictions?

@KainScion: Them alluding to the fact that Remy can't charge organic matter when he's been shown to do just that within recent times. GS has a blog post addressing it here.

@Mercy_: marvel has been inconsistent in that. until recently i've known he can only charge inorganic matter. but i seriously doubt remy would blow up limbs or bodies just to win a fight.

@KainScion: Oh, he definitely wouldn't. It's not so much the fact that he didn't (I would have been taken aback if he had), it was more the fact that it was said he couldn't. It's a pretty big mistake and one that if McNiven hadn't caught it (not that hard to do your homework), then the editor should have.

Who beat who so far? All I know is Colossus beat Spider-man(Such a shocker)

Captain America beat Gambit(Though it should of been a better fight)

And Red Hulk actually knocked out Colossus(Made me mad.)

How long until this thing is over?
