Can Magneto's magnetism affect the Thor's hammer made of the metal uru?

Yes, he can manipulate its trajectory, but not its compounds simply due to its enchantment.

Maybe, but you have to be worthy to use it. The hammer has a mind of its own

The enchantment "one worthy to lift it" is the one stoping Magneto from wielding it. Though in Ultimatum he was able to use Mjolnir because in the Ultimate Universe it doesn't have this enchantment. Then again Ultimatum was a really horrible storyline and universally reviled so it may not count.

@amalgamuniverse: Yes they can. He's done it before. He took on the entire Avengers before and was using Cap's shield, Thor's hammer, and Iron Man as weapons to swing around and clonk people with. The enchantment effects o person lifting it with their natural physical strength. Apart from that, physics still effect the hammer. Gravity, magnetism, and other universal forces still have an effect on it.

You have to be worthy to "pick it up" (when gravity is present)

But the worthiness is a moral thing.

Yes, but the point is that it can not be PHYSICALLY lifted by a hand who is not worthy. (WHEN GRAVITY IS PRESENT) Magnetism can move it. If there was an earthquake, it will move it, if it where in the ocean the waves can move it, if it where in space it can be moved etc... Magneto CAN electromagnetically move the hammer. Key word magnetically using the forces of electromagnetism. He can create a thin forcefield around his hand and make it appear as though he is lifting it when in fact, it is the forces of EM. If Magneto takes off his powers and tries to lift the hammer with his own physical strength, he will not be able to because he is not worthy to lift it.

Yes.

Surely no because mjolnir is summoned and commanded by thor' indomutable will and odin and thor's magic > Magnetism? Or is it just me ?

Technically....no.

@The_Thunderer: It's just you. Magneto has affected the hammer before.

Magneto's done it before. I'd assume he can do it again.

He already has. There's a comic strip of Magneto taking out Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man with one blow. And Thor uses the ever famous lines "By Odin's Beard! Not even heaven-forged mjolnir is immune to his mutant power!" Then there's another old comic strip of Magneto isolating Thor's hammer and thus almost defeating him until the Xmen show up and forces him to retreat. lol Mags have the ability to defeat Thor IF, and I say that with capital letters, he outsmarts him. Especially in a urban setting.
