I disagree. Mixed Martial arts fighting is much more akin to actually fighting than boxing. And see as how boxing is a part of mma you're kind of calling boxing gay too in some round about way.

Holy....this topic went crazy, I read the last page or two with my jaw dropping a little further as it went on....anyways I think that Lesnar is a pretty good fighter, he has been through a lot in last couple years, he was not able to recover from the diverticulitus....he was lucky to ever fight again at all, but he never got back to where he was a couple years ago.
@comicdude23: I think you are wrong about the Boxers being better fighters, I think the real truth is MMA fighters would get destroyed in a boxing match, and Boxers would get killed in an MMA fight....now a street fight where they just started fighting, that would depend on the individual...you were right about your earlier comments on Tyson though, back in the day he was crazy and would have destroyed just about anyone in a street fight. But the best street fighters in the world could not step into a Boxing match or a MMA match and do anything(ask Kimbo)

truth. Boxers suck in a real fight also technically. Shane Carwin exposed Lesnar's weakness against strikers (Carwin gassed and lost) but he was the first to expose lesnar's fatal flaw, then Cain used that flaw to beat him, then Overeem did.

Also, I have some friends that took boxing lessons. Seen them whoop plenty of ass. Boxing isn't better than martial arts, but it def. can help you easily win a fight.
