Looks cool. Can't wait. Oh, and damn man. That fourth season of the Boondocks was really hard to watch. Especially the last episode.
And the fact that the overarching issue of the fourth season was unresolved? SMH man.
@saint_wildcard You had me at Charlie Murphy.
@twentyfive I liked the Freedom Bus episode and the one were Riley pissed off the Gay and Special communities, everything else was garbage. You should check out the two unaired episodes from season two (one was about how BET really stood for black "evil" television, a conspiracy to deliberately capitalize on ignorance in the black community).
@dngn4774: Thanks. I have. That crap was hilarious, and sadly very true.
I didn't really like the episode where Riley made fun of the mentally retarded because I have a brother like that, and I'm the only one in my family who takes care of him and understands him, and it affects me emotionally. It really angered the hell out of me.
The Freedom Bus episode, and the Pretty Boy Flizzy episodes were my favorite. The first episode with Pretty Boy was like a leftover season 3 episode because of the jokes and subjects they were scrutinizing. It was Chris Brown in a nutshell.
@twentyfive: I get that, but that's just his character. He's not really Riley if he doesn't say f*ck*d up things about anyone who gives him sh*t, whether it SAAAD, Yes Homo, or anyone else.
This was my all-time favorite Riley Freeman moment of the series
Get's me every time.

this made me laugh...
Im standing my ground..lol
@dngn4774: Well, that's true. You can't please everybody when you're doing comedy. As a matter of fact, I think your job is kind of to get under someone's skin.
Maybe every single episode has offended at least someone before, whether or not I laughed.
And hell yeah that whole episode was funny. I wish we saw more Cindy in Season 4.
Looks pretty good so far, will most definitely be looking out for it. Also, Season 4 wasn't nearly as bad as people have been making it out to be since before it even aired..
It wasn't horrible but when compared the the first three seasons, it was very disappointing to see that the show lost much of its humor. Like the 4th Stinkmeaner episode or the Breaking Bad episode, it just really lowered the bar.
@dngn4774: I honestly thought the BB episode was their funniest... of that season
@saint_wildcard: meh...I don't really like episodes that center around Grandad. John Witherspoon's character is great in a supporting role but more boring when he's given the full spotlight. Huey has a similar problem when he doesn't have a hilarious supporting character to contrast (like Rukus or Riley). Would have loved to see an Ed (3rd) and Rummy episode. Maybe they weren't available, but it would have picked up the season.

I agree it was overall disappointing but people are making it out to be the new season of The Simpsons. And I actually liked the Stinkmeaner episode, the fight scene was pretty badass. The only episode that didn't strike me as the least bit humorous was the Kardashian episode, but I don't think it was supposed to be all that funny in the first place.
@twentyfive: @saint_wildcard: @juiceboks: Where do you think the show really peaked. It's tough to decide between seasons 2 and 3 but I think 3 edged it out as the series' highest moment.
I'm going to have to say Season 2. While yes season 3 was hilarious as fudge, I think it was a little too derivative, whereas the first two seasons were more original, and just pure gold.

IDK, I can't even remember what episodes belonged to each season.
Soooo, is this a tv show or a movie? It looks okay, didn't make me laugh though.
Series
Yeah..the second trailer didn't do it for me either..kinda just wish someone would make another Friday movie, bringing back Smokey...

I hear ya on another Friday with Smokey, but black jesus looks damn funny
I'm interested in it and definitley going to watch it, but it wasn't as funny as I expected. Then again the first time I watched the Boonfocks I didn't like it, so it will probably grow on me. One thing thoughI see being an issue is that it seems kind of low budget.
Can't be as much as it would be animated. Honestly I think the cheapness of it actually works for it, being animated wouldn't make i funnier/better IMO.
I am worried that this is just trailer magic at it's best. The trailer seems funny but the show could suck, sort of like Loiter Squad.Although that was a masterpiece example of trailer magic, they just cut bits out of the show and put it to funny music making it seem like it was hilarious.... boy was I fooled.
@ostyo: Agreed, this looks like crap.

I doubt it costs nearly as much either, but it doesn't mean it has the same budget either. I don't know, it just doesn't seem a tv show from has been shown so far. More like a high end youtube sketch series. It's obviously way to early to judge though, so I'll wait and see where it goes.

That sht...is awesome.
I loved the Black Jesus sketches. As for Spidey and Ostyo. How about watching first, ain't like you gotta pay.
@guardiandevil83: Um......no?
