how is that any different then something like Biggie's "like ice cream, I scoop you" line in the freestyle vid above...once you start getting analytical, there's a lot of stupid lines in raps

@utotheg38: cool i respect that, but i have to say not ALL of Eminem's raps are silly he raps about his family, his kids, people that inspired him like Dr.Dre, and Proof, he raps about the mistakes he's made, how he got to where he is, and the crap he's seen and put up with in his career, two of my favorite songs that show this are Not Afraid and Til i Collapse

i gotta plead ignorance on this one, i don't listen to too much Nas to compare them
I prefer Notorious B.I.G. over Eminem. Notorious is a rap legend, and thus, he will always be remembered and respected even in his death. I honestly think that his death is what made him more popular, anyway. However, because of his death (or during the time he was alive), he didn't reach the status that Eminem has gained over the years. Eminem has gained more record sales, each of which going several times platinum. He entertains a larger audience of fans, and has more mass appeal than Biggie ever had. In a freestyle battle, it would go to Eminem, because unlike most battle rappers, Eminem actually takes it to personal level, ridiculing the person in front of him, rather than talking about how gangsta he is in comparison to his opponent. The only thing I'd give Notorious over Eminem is his delivery. That's about it.
This is blasphemy, there is no way Eminem is a better freestyle rapper than Biggie. Biggie never wrote his lyrics down which means every song he did started off as a freestyle. Eminem definitely can freestyle but he's not better than Biggie.
