Neither one do much for me. I'm sure Beyoncé is richer though.

I've never found either obscenely attractive honestly. Not saying they're ugly, but they don't do much for me either.

Beyoncé is richer and probably carries more sway in the industry. Shakira is more attractive in my opinion.

@chillxpill: Do you know how much shakira is worth? 550,000,000. And she owns her own island, without Jayz Beyonce is nothing.

Beyoncé is one of the most powerful women in the world. The only reason why Shakira is still relevant is because of The Voice. Beyonce is better than her all around when it comes to talent and looks.

The only real advantage Shakira has is the culture gap. Shakira without a doubt has an impact on the Arabic community and the Lation community because of her background.

Both overrated, but Shakira is way more overrated.

I like Shakire. Her Waka Waka and Lalala songs from FIFA are awesome!

@monsterstomp: Yea. I think she's an icon that's more widely recognized on a global scale. You don't get much bigger than performing the theme song for the World Cup..twice..consecutively.

@juiceboks: Fifa? Eh, even if I didn't know Shakira from "Hips Don't Lie", I don't think I would have found out via her World Cup performances.

Well, do you watch the World Cup every four years? Because about half of the world watched at least some of the 2010 World Cup broadcast. I personally know her from "Hips Don't Lie" as well..but that doesn't mean that's all she's known for. I'd say that and Waka Waka are her two most recognizable songs, and one could argue either way on which is more iconic.
